I really wanted to like this quirky sounding story. But there was so much babbling and unnecessary details, that I couldn't focus on the story. The main character\narrator was so hyper, that I had to quit reading. I skipped ahead and still the story was all over the board. Sorry, not my thing.

An interesting main character and some good humor. Both stories are a bit thin on plot, but the author definitely shows promise.
When I saw this book for free, I almost didn't even get it then. Something about the title and cover I thought seemed a little cheesy. Boy am I glad I bit the bullet. This is one talented author. Almost immediately I was lmao. I literally ended up reading the entire book in one sitting. I will definitely be buying more of her books. She has a sarcastic humor so many authors try and fail at. She definitely has it down.
I got talked into trying this book. I was reluctant because it was a short story. I am glad that I bought it. I enjoyed it so much I bought book 2 in this series. I love a good ghost story and this one doesn't disappoint.

I hope everybody that likes ghost stories will give it a try.
Brianna Sullivan is a laugh a minute with her nonchalant acceptance of the ghosts who seek her help. It is a quick read, and I was glad, because, while I was sorry for it to end, I simply couldn't put it down until I had finished it. I picked this up as a freebie, but now I am hooked and can't wait to read more about this engaging mobile home psychic. I'm hoping her budding relationship with the detective also develops. Thank you Evelyn David.
This is 2 short stories. They are cute and entertaining. They are also pretty funny. Not really ghost stories; but more psychic in nature.
Evelyn David's I TRY NOT TO DRIVE PAST CEMETERIES may be the funniest read I've had in years. Seeing ghosts who find a home in her motor home and falling for an imperfect man, Det. Jackson Cooper keeps the laughs rolling for Brianna Sullivan.
There are two shorts in this selection, the second Buried BUT NOT DEAD IN LOTTAWALCH, OK has all the elements of the first. There is no stopping fans, these are must read to the end.
I'm off to get the next in this delightful series.

The book is fun from beginning to end. Brianna is the kind of woman every woman wants to be, smart, brave, funny and able to hear and see ghosts. What's not to like?

The story is plausible and entertaining. I am not normally a fan of ghost stories. But this is very well written and the characters are well developed. The entire thing is quality from beginning to end. I would recommend you get this to enjoy during the summer, or any time at all. I liked the book well enough to interrupt my watching Olympic Trials and a Texas Ranger baseball game.....now that is a really good book. I am going to look for other Evelyn David books. And I know I will enjoy every single one of them.
